Six wicket win for SL under 23
View(s):Sri Lanka under 23 cricketers posted an easy six wicket win over the touring Nepal national team at the Bloomfield ground recently.
Taking first lease of the wicket, the tourists were wrapped up for 127 runs with Pritam Baskota top scoring with an unbetean 41.
The local team with opener Udara Jayasundera leading the way with a polished 53 runs reached their target with six wickets in hand.
The Nepal team is on a short tour prior to their departure to Singapore for the Emerging Trophy which is to be conducted by the Singapore CA.
The other participating teams are Afghanistan, the UAE, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the host country Singapore.

Nepal suffer another defeat
The touring Nepal National Emerging cricket team suffered their second defeat when they were trounced by the Sri Lanka under 23 squad at the NCC ground recently.
After the home team ran up a match winning score of 254 for nine wickets, the tourists were bundled out for 121 with the only resistance from opener Anil Kumar who top scored with 51 runs.
