St. Anthony’s College Kandy (SACK), one of the leading Division ‘A’ school rugby teams in Sri Lanka over the past few decades, is set to stage its second tag rugby carnival, organised by the Antonians Rugby Trust Fund (ARTF), at the CR & FC grounds on August 17.

Over 3000 current students, past pupils and their families are expected to be present at the event which will be telecast live. The rugby tournament will consist of two categories, namely the Veterans (over 40 years) and the New Generation (under 40 years).

The event will feature a fun-filled carnival atmosphere catering especially to past students and their families with fun for the whole family including a kids’ play area, a firework show, a DJ, papare and a live performance by the popular local band ‘Solid’ featuring songstress Corin Almeda.
