New creations from veteran artist
View(s):Veteran artist S.H. Sarath who has held over a hundred exhibitions all over the world will show his latest work at the Harold Peiris Gallery of the Lionel Wendt on December 12 and 13. The exhibition hours will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
One of Sri Lanka’s most prolific artists, the diminutive Sarath has enjoyed considerable recognition in the course of his long career. Exhibitions held in countries such as Canada, the UK, Japan, Korea, Thailand and many more have brought him critical acclaim. In 2008, he had a solo exhibition of his work at the United Nations offices in Geneva.
His exhibition will be opened on December 11 by Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and Mrs. Maithree Wickremesinghe.
