Veteran Athlete Rupasinghe felicitated

Veteran Sri Lankan athlete Sunimal Rupasinghe , athletic coach and Vice Patron of the OBA of St John’s College, Nugegoda, was felicitated by the OBA of St John’s College, Nugegoda.

Mr. Rupasinghe organised a Kids’ Talent Identification Programme for children of Grade 1 to 5 at St. John’s College, Nugegoda recently, where nearly 1000 children from primary schools in Nugegoda and Kalubowila participated. Some talented children were selected mainly for their athletics skills. Some of them were even selected to play rugby football.

Mr. Rupasinghe’s services were recognized in the presence of schoolchildren, Old Boys, and parents.
