The British School in Colombo has had steep progress over the years, since its inception in 1994. It is an independent, coeducational, international day school, which prepares students for the IGCSE and A-Level examinations, as well as for the IB Diploma Programme. The school has a strong tradition of sending students to leading universities around the world, including Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, Bristol, Sheffield, LSE and Warwick in the UK and Princeton, MIT and Brown in the USA.
