OKI International School once again showcased its sporting excellence as its young karate champions proudly secured the Runners –up Title at the 14th Inter-International Schools Karate Championship 2025, held on the 25th and 26th of October at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium. Demonstrating remarkable talent, discipline, and teamwork, OKIan heroes brought immense pride to their alma mater by winning an impressive tally of 47 Gold, 31 Silver, and 23 Bronze medals, claiming the coveted Second Place position among all 18 participating schools.
The journey of OKI’s karate team stands as a testament to perseverance and passion — a vision born years ago to instill discipline and excellence in students. Guided by dedicated coaches whose steadfast commitment shaped their skills and spirit, young OKIans have transformed through consistent training and teamwork into accomplished athletes on national and international stages.
