50 Cub Scouts receive badges in Ampitiya

An enrolment of 50 Cub Scouts was held at Kandy’s Berrewaerts Royal College, Ampitiya recently.

Chief guest Special Commissioner Sarath Kumarasinghe pinned the badges with Teacher-in-charge Chanani Weerakoon.

Principal Chandrasiri Bandara said the Scout movement has been an immense strength in shaping the child to be good, help others, and be a strength to society.

The enrolment was held at the main grounds of the school. Director of Education (Development) Deepika Priyadarshani participated in the event.
