Grand walk to mark 150th anniversary of St John the Bpatist College, Kandana

On September 5, a grand walk was held to mark the 150th anniversary of St. John the Baptist College, Nagoda, Kandana.
The march, which began with the blessings of Reverend Linton Joseph, the parish priest of the Holy St. John the Baptist Church in Nagoda, was attended by students, eastern and western marching bands, sports teams, other school activity groups, past students, and teachers.
The walk was held with the help of teachers, past students, and parents under the guidance and direction of the school’s principal, Major Priyanga Shiromi.
In conjunction with this anniversary, a painting exhibition will be held on the 19th and 20th of this month, and the anniversary mass will be held on October 10, led by Colombo Archbishop His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith.
