Pilliyar kovil custodians visit the Maligawa on final perahera night

The traditional visit of the trustee and the representatives of the Gangadevi Kovil or Pilliyar Kovil to representatives of the Sri Dalada Maligawa on the final night of the Kandy Esala Perhera took place on Friday.
They were received by the Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela at the Hewisi Mandapaya and blessed at the point of the Ransivige, and a garland of jasmine flowers was placed on the tusker Wasana.
