The National Sports Council Felicitates Shaylon Gunaratna and Rovinya Wijesekera of Asian International School
View(s):The National Sports Council held a felicitation ceremony to applaud the achievements of the first Gold medal and Bronze medals won by Shaylon Gunaratna and Rovinya Wijesekera at the recently held Beach Sprint Asian Rowing Championship in Thailand. The certificates were presented by the Chairman of the National Sports Council and former Minister Mr. Arjuna Ranathunga.
Shaylon Gunaratna won Gold Medal in his individual sculling event and Rovinya and Shaylon won the Bronze Medals in the Mixed doubles event.
