De La Salle advance to the final
Under 17 Division Two Semi Final
View(s): De La Salle College Mutwal advanced to the final of the Under 17 Division Two inter-schools cricket with an easy six wickets win over Karandeniya Central in the semi-final encounter played at De Zoysa Stadium in Moratuwa yesterday.
The match got off to a late start and was curtailed to 34 overs with Karandeniya Central taking first lease of the wicket and was able to muster only a score of 107.
De La Salle in their run chase made steady progress and was guided by two fine knocks by Chathura Wijesiri and Lakshan Fernando helping them reach the target in the 31st over.
