Magnanimous contribution towards new Primary

Former Principal and distinguished Old Boy of Zahira College, Deshamanya Prof. M.T.A. Furkhan donated rupees sixty million for the construction of a new modern building for the primary section at Zahira College which comprises twenty three class rooms, an auditorium and an IT Lab. The foundation laying ceremony was held at the College premises recently.

Principal of the College, Mohamed Jiffry delivering the welcome address said that the entire college is thankful to Prof. Furkhan for his magnanimous contribution towards development of the college.

Chairman of Board of Governors and President of the Old Boys Association, Fowzul Hameed and Prof. M.T.A. Furkhan also addressed the gathering.

A large gathering of distinguished old boys and well wishers including Senior Minister A.H.M. Fowzie, Former Saudi Arabia Ambassador Nowfel S. Jabir were present at the occasion.
