Schools Rugby Association AGM on February 13

The Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association (SLSRFA) will hold its Annual General Meeting on 13 February 2011 in Colombo. According to reliable source Denzil Darling (present Secretary) is tipped to be appointed as the President.

The Schools sevens will be worked off in early March and the Schools league to be kicked off in the last week of March. There will be a break of two weeks for Sinhala and Tamil New year. Further the season will be likely see for the first time 6 teams in each group playing 5 games. After the group stages the top 4 from each group will play against the other group top 4 leaving the last two to battle it out for the last 2 positions.

According to reliable source Group A will consists teams from St Peter's, Isipathana, St Thomas', Wesley, Dharmarajah and Thurstan. While the Group B will have Kingswood, Royal, Trinity, St Anthony's, St Joseph's and Science battling it out for supremacy.
