Sri Jayewardenapura MV record three wins

Under 17 Cricket

Sri Jayewardenapura MV Kotte recorded three wins in the second round encounters of the Under 17 Division One cricket which is in progress now. They began with a 18 run win over Holy Cross College Kalutara and followed it up with a 70 runs win over St Joh’s Panadura before posting a massive 180 runs victory against Raddoluwa MV.

Isuru Kariyawasam’s all round performance was the highlight of the three matches as he cracked two half tons and was involved in curtailing the opponents with his fine bowling.

St John’s Panadura 127 in 46 overs (H. Samith 48: M.P. Madusanka 4 for 46, Isuru Kariyawasam 3 for 16, D. Gomes 2 for 7)

Sri Jayewardenapura MV 302 in 49.3 overs (Iroshan Silva 78, Isuru Kariyawasam 34, Akila Abeysiriwardena 23, L.K. Boteju 20: R. Perera 3 for 40, N. Sasanka 3 for 35)
