Use of calculators and correcting fluid will not be allowed during the examination.

“Sitting this examination as a private candidate, while attending a government school, will be a punishable offence,”Mr. Pujitha said.
“Admission cards and timetables of school candidates have already been posted to the heads of schools, while those of private candidates, to the addresses given in their applications. Admission cards sent to the heads of schools must be given to the relevant candidates immediately. It should not be delayed for any reason,” Mr Pujitha advised.

Private candidates’ Admission cards have been posted but, if they do not receive it in time they could visit the DoE website (www.doenets.lk) and download their Admission card by using their National Identity Card (NIC) No.

The NIC issued by the Department of Registration of Persons, a valid Passport or Driving Licence will be accepted as proof of identity of a candidate at the GCE A/L Exam. (NF)
