Royal crush St Mary’s by innings
Royal Colombo crushed St Mary’s Chilaw by an innings and 15 runs in a first round match of the Under 15 Division one cricket tournament played at the Public ground in Chilaw. Royal bowlers Disadu Ranasinghe who ended with a match bag of nine wickets and Manula Perera were the heroes of their win. An unbeaten 104 by Amitha Dabare paved the way for Lumbini MV to record a comfortable first innings win over Siri Piyaratana MMV Padukka played at the BRC ground. In the other matches that were played saw Gurukula MV Kelaniya, Thurstan, Mahanama Colombo, DSS, De Mazenod, Ananda and St Anthony’s Wattala securing first inning wins.
