An Evening with a difference
View(s):The Trinity College first XV team members of 1979, had a Reunion in splendid style after the conclusion of the 2nd leg at Pallekale.The get-together was held at Earls Regency Hotel, Kandy. The gala event was hosted by Jan Tissera, the first XV skipper. The galaxy of stars who attended and added colour to the event was, apart from Jan, his brother Andre, Bharatha Mendis, Naren Dambawinna, Janaka Kiridena, Janaka Weerasinghe, Niranjan Asoka Weerasinghe, Sumedha Ratwatte, Ravi Bandaranaike(Skipper of Trinity first XV 1981), Shen Wei Chang, Michael Richardson, Tikiri Ellepola (Skipper of Trinity first XV 1980), Nihal Gunawardena, Sheran Ratwatte, Shehan Seneviratne, Chris Halangoda, Sheron Rajamani, Andrew Soosai, Tony Bertus, Umar Fairoze and Devapriya Perera. - NK
