The promotional campaign for the fourth edition of the Carlton Super Sevens got off the ground two days ago amidst much pomp and pageantry, with the launch of the tournament’s official float and the unveiling of the championship trophy, at the Racecourse grounds.
The float, which was inspected by several rugby administrators including the Chairman of the International Rugby Board, Bernard Lapasset, will travel across the country in the lead-up to the tournament.
Speaking briefly at the event, Lapasset praised the competition and said it would do much to enhance the quality and popularity of the country’s rugby.
