Ananda College emerged champions of the National Age Group Swimming Relay Championship, organized by the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union held at the Sugathadasa National Sports Complex.

Two new meet records were set by the Ananda college Swimmers of Malinka Jayasekara , Chirantha De Silva, Abilasha Pathirana and Thisara Wickramaarachchi in the under 19 50 x 4 medley relay with a time of 1.55.11 and 50 x 4 freestyle relay with a time of 1.42.68 .
In the under 10 and 12 category junior swimmers also won 1st place in both relay events.

This victory was made possible under the captaincy of Thavishka Guruge and the untiring efforts of the swimming coach Nishantha Kumarapperuma.
