‘Thuru Visithuru’ highlights green Lanka
View(s):‘Thuru Visithuru’ an experimental documentary programme highlighting green Sri Lanka will be telecast at 7.30 pm on Sunday, March 24 on National Rupavahini.
Internationally awarded producer Anura Thanthirige made the production presented by Dr. Cyril Wijesundara, the Director General of the National Botanical Gardens Department.
Anura has earlier produced programmes related to Sri Lankan history, environment and geography like ‘Gala a Halena Ridi Nadi’, ‘Avare Giya Siripa Gamana’, ‘Sinharaja Wananthare’, ‘Dumbara Wananthara’, ‘Pradeepagara’ and ‘Akshara Puranaya’ some of which had won awards both locally and internationally.
Kusum Renu voiced the programme which was filmed by Jayalukshman Suriyarachchi and Raj Silva did the recording and Nalinda Sripal Silva the editing.
