Education

Tribute to an Icon

Our late principal, Mr. K. Anton Perera was a person with an unwavering sense of spirituality, one that he had inculcated through his days spent in religious practices. He was undoubtedly one of the most charismatic leaders the modern education world has set eyes on. He had the ability to control crisis situations as well as resolve conflicts, while winning the hearts of the people around him.

Our dear principal won the hearts of his staff and was always faithful as a leader and as loyal as a protector. He upheld the quality of teamwork and made every member feel he or she had his due part to play. Our dear principal was the catalyst in the school, the lone figure who believed in everything and made it happen.

Furthermore, he had an unparalleled competence in the English language and used it as his most effective tool in human resource management, a task that he always excelled at. In life, he was forever a friend unlike any other, a father unmatched and a leader without equal.

Dear Sir, although you are no longer with us, you will continue to live in the hearts that you won.
Mr. Lakmina Wijetunge
