Mind Probe 2011

Since its inception The Quiz Club of Ananda College has rendered the invaluable service of uplifting of the standards of knowledge of the college students. The Quiz Club organizes weekly sessions and workshops that give the members the opportunity to share their knowledge and to be equipped with the latest information of what is happening in the world around them.

But the Quiz Club has been able to broaden its service to the society by organizing the Annual Inter School Quiz Competition, ''Mind Probe'' which is held with the participation of various schools island wide. Over the years ''Mind Probe'' has become the most recognized and sought-after quiz competition among the rivals in the school based quizzing arena.

In continuing its unmatched legacy to greater heights, we, The Quiz Club of Ananda College, have organized the 10th consecutive Inter School Quiz Competition, ''Mind Probe 2011'' which will be held on the 06th July 2011 at the Ananda College premises, with Dr. Harris Pathirage gracing the occasion as the chief guest. Many schools from all over the island have been invited to take part in this competition and to test their quizzing skills. Teams of four, all of whom are born on or after 1st February 1992, from any school are eligible to participate in the competition. Schools which, by any chance, have not received the invitations are kindly requested to post an application form signed by the school principal, containing the school name, the names of the team members, the respective dates of birth and telephone numbers to ''The Quiz Club, Ananda College, Colombo 10'' before the 3rd of July. (For more information please contact Dian - 011 2 892 138, Harshana - 071 7 515 040)

For the past ten years the competition has seen many talented school goers coming to the light and establishing themselves as respected personalities in the society.

As the organizers of the competition our sole intention is to facilitate the budding young talent of Sri Lanka to become professional masterminds. The oncoming competition will be yet another golden opportunity for the young quizzing wizards of Sri Lanka to achieve much more in the field. We wish all the competing schools the best of luck in the competition.
