Lokuge welcomes Arjuna woes

Sports Minister Gamini Lokuge welcomed the comments made by political colleague and former Cricket Board Interim Committee President – Arjuna Ranatunga whom he removed. Mr. Ranatunga made complaints to the Presidential Investigation Unit director Tilak Iddamalgoda.

Further, the minister said, “It is a fine move that Ranatunga made without going on about it from the backbench. Now they can probe into his allegations and clear the people whom he has made the complaints against.”

Ranatunga made charges on Friday against the National Olympic Committee and Sri Lanka Cricket on monetary misappropriations.
