Allowances of principals, teachers in difficult schools to be increased
View(s):The Education Ministry has increased the teachers and principals financial incentive for serving in ‘difficult’ schools.
The Director General of Management Services and the Director General of National Budget have been informed to amend the allowances according to the provisions allocated from the Budget 2026.
Approval has been granted to increase the allowances, which are to be paid from April 1, for those serving in all national and provincial schools identified as ‘very difficult’ and ‘difficult’ subject to the Education Circular 01/2024 (I) and the amendments.
Principals and teachers in very difficult service would be provided Rs 4,000 (monthly).
Principals and teachers in difficult service would be provided Rs 3,000 (monthly).
