Proud moment for Talawakelle as three students qualify to enter Medical Faculty

A felicitation ceremony was held recently to honour students of Talawakelle Tamil Maha Vidyalayam who successfully passed the 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination and are eligible to enter medical faculty.
The event was organised by Reshni Thurairaj, an alumna of the school and the Kotagala Medical Officer of Health (MOH).
The students felicitated were Prabhakaran Kabishan from Talawakelle town, Chithiravel Anuja, the first student from Great Western Estate to gain that eligibility and Vijayakumar Anitha, the first student from Logie Estate to achieve this milestone.
The ceremony, held at the Kotagala MOH office, was attended by Reshni. Thurairaj, K. Sudarshan, MOH Kotagala and Janath Abeygunawardena, MOH for Lindula.
