SC judge Thurairaja-appointed acting Chief Justice

Supreme Court Justice S Thurairaja was appointed as the Acting Chief Justice by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake until the return of Chief Justice Preethi Padman Surasena from overseas.
The Chief Justice is currently on an official overseas visit. Justice Thurairaja is the most senior Supreme Court judge and member of the Judicial Service Commission.
