Applicants must have successfully completed their A/Ls in the Biology stream (or an equivalent international qualification). Strong academic performance in science subjects significantly enhances the chances of selection.
As per the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) requirement:
- Local A/L – Minimum C, C, S (CCS)
- London A/L – Minimum C, C, D (CCD)
- Other international qualifications - Must be equivalent to the above standards.
