Lyceum International School proudly celebrates two of its outstanding educators—Mr. Madhura Sanajaya Loku Kaluge from Nugegoda and Ms.Shehanie Ratnayake from Anuradhapura—who have been named finalists for the prestigious International School Innovator of the Year: Asia at the Pearson Teacher Awards.
Mr. Madhura brings over 31 years of dedicated service and is renowned for his innovative approach to science education, combining real-world applications with interactive teaching methods that inspire students’ curiosity and passion for learning. Ms.Shehanie Ratnayake, with over 4 years of teaching experience, has been a valuable member of Lyceum Anuradhapura since January 2021. Specialising in English Language, English Literature, and Effective Speech across Edexcel, National, and Cambridge curricula, she is recognised as a visionary educator who integrates creative and modern learning techniques to inspire both students and colleagues.
