View(s):Lyceum Campus came alive with festivity on April 10th as students, faculty, and staff gathered to celebrate the Sinhala and Tamil New Year—Avurudu—in a vibrant event organised by the Lyceum Campus Student Council. The celebration, was a vivid display of Sri Lankan heritage, complete with traditional customs, food, games, and cultural performances.
The Student Council led the charge in transforming the campus into a festive arena, where students participated in traditional activities such as the boiling of milk and preparation of sweet pongal—rituals that symbolize prosperity and new beginnings.
