Helios 2011 - The 4th voyage to the Sun

Nalanda College Astronomical Society in collaboration with the Ananda Balika Vidyalaya Astronomical Society has organized "Helios 2011", the one and only sun observation camp in the Island, for the 4th consecutive year.

Nearly 400 Astronomy interested students from all over the Island will participate at this event. It will be held at the Nalanda College premises on February 19. It is an opportunity that one will receive once in his or her lifetime. Observing the Sun more closely with a telescope will be given to all participants. Furthermore, they would get the chance to listen to important lectures about the sun conducted by well known lecturers.

Also many group activities related to Astronomy will be held at the "Helios 2011" Sun Observation Camp. This camp "Helios 2011" will be a great opportunity to the participants to mould their Astronomy knowledge.
