Abducted schoolboy found dead: 3 students arrested

A 16-year-old Chavakachcheri schoolboy abducted allegedly by fellow students to demand a ransom of Rs. 30 million was found dead last evening, Police said.Thiruchelvam Kebilnath, an O/L student of Chavakachcheri Hindu College and son of a leading motorcycle trader in Jaffna, went missing on March 14. Following police investigations, three students of the same school were arrested.

The body was found buried in the compound of one of the suspects in the Chavakachcheri area last evening. The Magistrate who visited the area ordered a postmortem. Police said that one of the students arrested was an A/L student and the other two were O/L students.
