Young cricketers Dineepa and Dilena shine for St. Sebastian’s

Dineepa Wickremasinghe and Dilena Fernando involved in a record first-wicket partnership of 184 against Mayadunne Maha Vidyalaya, Hanwella in their Division III Under-13 Cricket Tournament played at St. Sebastian’s ground in Moratuwa.
In their marathon stand Dineepa scored 100 not out in 110 balls and Dilena hit 84 runs in 98 balls scoring his first fifty in this tournament.
St. Sebastian’s went into a score of 211 for 1 wicket in 37 overs and in reply Mayadunna MV scored only 104 for the loss of 9 wickets in 58 overs. Kaveesha Perera and Gayuka Fernando took figures of 3 for 17 and 2 for 13 respectively for St. Sebastian’s.
