Group of 2007 wins Zahira Inter-Batch Futsal title

Group of 2013 became runners-up
The Group of 2007 of Zahira College, Colombo organized a Futsal Encounter for the second consecutive year at the Sports World Arena in Peliyagoda as the Group of 2017, led by Faroon Faiz emerged champions.
The teams that competed were Combined 90s, Batch of 2002, Group of 2003, Group of 2005, Group of 2007, Class of 2008, Group of 2009, Group of 2011, Group of 2012, Group of 2013, Batch of 2014, Group of 2015, Group of 2016, Group of 2017, Group of 2018 and Batch of 2019.
Mohamed Shazny Group of 2011 received Golden Boot award, while the Golden Glove award was won by Kaleelul Rahuman of Group of 2017. The Fair Player award was won by Group of 2005.
Group of 2017 won the championship
The captain of the champion team Group of 2017, Farood Faiz received champion award and cash prize Rs. 50, 000 from chief guest and main sponsor of the tournament Shoppinglist.lk Director, M.S.A. Mohamed. The captain of Group of 2013 team, Sajeer Ahamed received runners-up award and cash prize of Rs. 30,000 from Directors of May Fair Holidays — Hameed Sadik and Dr. Irshad Jabir.
An exhibition match was held between Group of 2007 Exco and Zahira College Old Boys Association Exco was also held during the competition. The Group of 2007 won the match. President of the Group of 2007 Mohamed Rizad, Secretary Mohamed Thasleem, Project Chairman Shiraj Salley, Coordinator Arshad Jaleel, Zahira College OBA Secretary Nuzri Munsoor, Sports Secretary Mohamed Cassim, and Treasurer Hazik Jaleel and members of the Group of 2007 were also present.
