UWE, Bristol the highest ranked UK University in Sri Lanka now offers Undergraduate Programs

Bristol Institute, the only education institute in the country offering programmes from the highest ranking UK university in Sri Lanka, for Postgraduate and Undergraduate programmes, thanks to its affiliation with the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol. These programmes include an MSc in Accounting and Finance, MBA, BA Honors in Business Management and BSc Honors in Accounting and Finance, all launched in December of last year.
UWE, Bristol which was ranked number 37 out of the 121 United Kingdom (UK) Universities in the Guardian League Table 2019 has now made an unprecedented jump of 9 places in the same league table, now ranked 28th on the table for 2020, further solidifying UWE, Bristol as a University driven by quality and continuous improvement of their academic faculties.
The rank improvement further identifying UWE, Bristol as the premier UK University offering full time UK education in the nation.
Bristol Institute hope to provide a platform for local students to experience the full benefit of receiving the country’s best academic education from the UK, entirely in Sri Lanka.
The two programmes, namely the BA (Honors) in Business Management and BSc (Honours) in Accounting and Finance aim to give its students the same quality of education as its Postgraduate division, while offering its full time programmes in a wide range of delivery options such as Full Time Weekday or Full Time Weekend options.
The flexibility of delivery, will allow a clear pathway for Advanced Level qualified students or young corporate professionals to study as full time students. Just as in the case of the launch of the UWE, Bristol MSc in Accounting & Finance and MBA, the BSc in Accounting and Finance and BA in Business management are Undergraduate Honours Degrees that carry the benefit of its students obtaining exemptions from many recognized professional examinations such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA).
These courses have been designed for students and professionals in the fields of finance and management as a means to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical know how.
