National Institute of Business Management, Kandy was established in the year 1996 to meet the growing demand of both Computer and Management development studies.
The Language faculty was introduced later with the objective of addressing the language requirements of the students of central region. It was situated in Piachaud Gardens, Peradeniya road at its inception. In the year 2013 it was relocated in the heart of Kandy city at No.02, Asgiriya Road. NIBM, Kandy offers a wide range of courses and training programmes in Computing, Business Management and Languages for more than 1500 students at a time.
Taking the social responsibility of enriching the knowledge and skills of school students in and around Kandy region, NIBM, Kandy always lend their generous support by conducting workshops, seminar series and consultations. NIBM, Kandy, equipped with modern computer labs and
classroom facilities commands a panoramic view of Kandy including the Dalada Maligawa.
