Royal Colombo and Sangamitta GS Galle Under-15 Super ‘A’ Division shuttle champs
View(s):Royal College, Colombo and Sangamitta Girls’ School, Galle emerged champions in the Boys’ and Girls’ Super ‘A’ Divisions respectively at the All Island Schools Under 15 Team Badminton Championship 2019 worked off at the Richmond College, Galle Indoor Stadium last weekend.
In the Boys final Royal College defeated Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa while in the Girls final Sangamitta Girls overcame Sujatha Balika Vidyalaya, Matara to clinch the Super ‘A division titles.
Organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Badminton Association over 1800 boys and girls from 110 island wide schools competed at this mega event.
Rohan De Silva, President of the Sri Lanka Badminton Federation along with Sampath Weragoda and Saman Wijesinghe, the President and Secretary of the Schools Badminton Association distributed the awards.
