The University of Kelaniya Gavel Club (KGC) will host the ‘Best Speaker 2017’ contest next month, to uplift the art of public speaking among its undergraduates.
The KGC, an affiliate of Toastmasters International USA, is a student body that works to enhance its undergraduates communication and leadership skills.
The All-Island Inter University Speech Competition is being held for the 13th consecutive year and, with the 6 finalists of the competition made known.
The event will be held on Dec.4, 2017, from 3 pm-4.30 pm, at the Sri Lanka Press Institute, Narahenpita.
