Old Royalists Cricket today
View(s):The Royal College Old Boy’s Inter-Batch Cricket Carnival 2014 organised by the Royal College Group of 2001 will take place at the Bloomfield cricket grounds today commencing at 8.30am.
The event which is being held for the 14th consecutive year will see old Royalists from the groups of 1969 to 2013 taking part.
Three trophies will be in fray at the event namely the E.C. Gunasekara Trophy for the Over-40 age category, the Vijitha Weerasinghe Trophy for the age group between 30 and 40 and the L.D.H. Peiris Memorial Trophy offered for the winner of the Open category. All former Reid Avenue students are also welcome and invited, to form teams and join in the fun.
