Trinity College confirmed their superiority over S. Thomas’ College Mt. Lavinia at hockey by beating them 3-2 at the Asgiriya Stadium last evening. The Trinitians seemed to have the game under control when they led 2-0 at the break. 

The visitors came back strongly to equalize midway in the second half. However, Trinitians added a crucial third. M.R. Wijewardana, Y. Vinothraj and A.S.S.S. Amarawansa scored a goal each for the winners. Romesh Nallaperuma and Shenal de Silva scored a goal each for the Thomians. J.R. Dissanaike and S.S. Jayasinghe refereed.
