An unbeaten 166 from 105 balls, which included eleven boundaries and fourteen hits over the ropes, by right-hand batsman Gihan Nimsara saw Old Servatians CA & FC annihilate Weera SC by an innings and 41 runs last weekend.

The inter-club Division Two match for the Donovan Andree Trophy was played at the Sripali grounds Horana. Right-arm off-spinner A M Priyantha continued his good bowling form to end with a match bag of six wickets.

This is the second consecutive win registered by Old Servatian’s CA&FC in the tournament

Weera SC 149 in 45.2 overs (Gathika Shehan 38. Lakruwan de Silva 27, Dinesh Deemantha 22, Sameepa Liyanage 20, Lahiru Kokila 3/18, A M Priyantha 3/40. Tharindu Mannage 2/20)

And 112 in 37.1 overs (Tharindu Madhusanka 35, Lahiru Perera 24, Tharindu Mannage 3/21, A M Priyantha 3/55)

Old Servatians CA&FC 302/5 declared in 36 overs (Gihan Nimsara 166 not out, Sanidu Ediriweera 51, Yohan Chanuka 31, Chalanaka Weerasinghe 25, Tharindu Madhusanka 2/24.
