A warning to Colombo School Cricketers
View(s):Education Ministry has warned that it would take stern disciplinary action against Colombo Schools declining to play cricket against their counterparts in the outstations.
This follows reports that some leading Colombo Schools have refused to travel outstation to take part in inter-school cricket fixtures due to various factors. It is learnt that it has been brought to the notice of the relevant authorities about various inconveniences that they have to undergo like ground and accommodation facilities.
It is also learnt that Colombo schools who fail to comply with the Ministry requirement will face a ban of some of their fixtures. -Bandula M
