MATRIX for BCS in Sri Lanka

BCS Chartered Institute of information Technology (CIIT) - Higher Education Qualifications (HEQ) formally known as the British Computer Society Professional Examinations is currently offered in three levels namely Certificate in IT, Diploma in IT and PGD in IT. The HEQ examinations are offered twice a year and students can complete the full examination in just two years of study.

The above brief introduction was given for you as parents or guardian to obtain a basic idea of the global IT examination. BCS CIIT HEQ examinations are ideally suited for students just after their A/L examination and who are not eligible for university entrance. Interestingly university undergraduates also follow this examination to add value to their profile. As parents or guardians your main interest would be to ensure an excellent future for your child, therefore you will want to provide them the very best education and training at any cost. The BCS CIIT HEQ examinations provide you to achieve this very easily. CIIT - HEQ exams gives your child the same or even a higher recognition than any other programme or degree in IT due to it's recognition locally and overseas. The most important advantage of this examination is the total fee the institution charges from each candidate, which is even less than Sri Lanka Rupees 249,000, which can also be paid in installments. Call today on 0714317924 to the BCS Coordinator and fix an appointment with the CEO as soon as possible.
If your Son/Daughter succeeds in the interview you can immediately register with the institution by filling the application form and making the first installment payment of LKR 49,900. (Registration close on 15th December 2009 for January 2010 batch)
The balance payment can be made in 16 equal installments of LKR 12,500 each.
We will provide your child the very best education for IT and further at the end of the programme will award 6 other certifications in, JAVA, Web Designing, Web Development, Programming in C, Networking and Hardware Engineering.

MATRIX offers the BCS program me in part-time basis where the classes are held only once a week on Saturdays or Sundays. The full-time format is totally different from this since in the full time batches classes are held from 9.00 to 4.30 from Monday to Friday. The part-time form of education is ideal for students who are currently employed and therefore can not attend for weekday classes. MATRIX Cricket Carnival and Sports Day - 2009

MATRIX Institute of Information Technology (Pvt) Ltd. With the initiation and support from it's Students Association organized a grand Cricket Carnival and a Sports Day on the 1st of December 2009, which attracted many past and present students of the institution. The Cricket Carnival was one of the main features of the day and out of 22 teams who took part for the event the students of one of the Sunday BIT batches emerged champs who beat the MATRIX staff team in a breath taking final, which only ended in the last ball. The day was further enlightened when a few ladies teams took part in the event, which was won by the team, which comprises of a set of past and present BCS students who beat the MATRIX staff ladies team in the finals.

Fun games

The day was also brightened by the fun games organized by the students and the staff, with many other interesting stalls. The students enjoyed a few minutes at the end with some music and dance. Several other institutes, caterers, Banks, and other organizations further supported the MATRIX students association via sponsorships for stalls, banners and souvenirs. At the end of the event the winners of the raffle draw was enounced and they were invited to obtain their gifts from the students association. The winning numbers were 1888, 3642 and 768.

The chief guest for the event was Mr. Viraj Pinto Jayawardena Chairman/ Managing Director of MATRIX Institute of Information Technology (Pvt) Ltd. Who gave away the winners shield to Sunday Mountain Rangers team and the winners medals to the ladies was given away by Mrs. Emesha Pinto Jayawadena the Director Operations and Finance at MATRIX.
