Éclair or Profiterole filled with cream, fresh fruit Tartlet, Pralines and Brownies. The choice of savories is the Chef’s way of welcoming you with specially made sandwiches in Cucumber and Mint, Smoked Salmon [cured] Sandwich, Tomato and Basil Sandwich, Thin Asparagus roll and Quiche Lorraine made from special recipes down the ages, to continue the legendary Governor’s Style High Tea at the Mount Lavinia Hotel.
Also Pink Champagne High Tea is an invitation for a tête-à-tête, a rendezvous of style and romance, the ambience is created by the patisserie in pink, Classic Petit Fleur, Batten burgh Cake, Fruit Mousse in small Glasses, Éclairs with Pink Icing and Mini Muffins with pink Icing, Pink Cookies, Pink Chocolate Cake, Pink Mille Fleur, Pink Scones with pink cream and jam, bowls of Strawberry with cream and pink icing sugar.
Savories in cold too has taken over as cold appetizers in Thin Cucumber Sandwich with Pink Butter, Smoked Salmon Sandwich, beetroot Sandwich, Pink Salmon mousse in profiterole and Asparagus Roll.
