Sonali White, the designer behind fashion house HADDAI shares some fashion tips for summer dressing

As the heat rises one of the hottest trends this season is the dress. Be it colourful and flashy for day or more subdued tones for the evening it is a must have for every girls wardrobe.

Trend: Dreamy and floaty Roman influenced draped dresses, off-the-shoulder dress, strappy sundress, shift dress. The dress can be worn short or mid calf length or long, flowy and full length as one desires. Details include flounces, beeralu lace insertions, appliqué, embroidery and beading and tie and dye.

Colours: Grey cast neutrals, black, white, beige, saturated brights, electric and turquoise blue, flashy orange to purple to pink. Bold and bright patterns, pop dots and stripes.

Fabrics: Silks and silk mixes, viscose, translucent voiles, ultra fine poplins, knits, lace , cotton and linen.
