A 5000-strong force to reconstruct irrigation projects in Badulla

A 5,000-strong force has been deployed in the Badulla district to carry out reconstruction of irrigation projects, Badulla District Secretary Pabath Abeywardena said.
He said reconstruction of 35 projects was completed yesterday while 40 other irrigation projects are being renovated.
The 5,000-strong force assembled at the Hali Ela Pradeshiya Sabha ground before they were deployed.
