SLASU recommend 60-member national squad for 2025

The National Sports Selection Committee (NSSC), chaired by Olympian Sriyani Kulawansha, has announced a 60-member recommended Sri Lanka Aquatic National Squad for 2025, comprising 35 men and 25 women, based on FINA points and official recommendations from the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union (SLASU) dated September 23, 2025.

The committee, which includes Secretary Maj. Gen. P.R. Pathiravithana and members Suresh Subramaniam, Kamal Jayalath, Olympian Jayamini Illeperuma, and Ruwan Perera, have forwarded the list to the Secretary of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and to SLASU.
