The Nuwara Eliya Public Library on Friday launched an ambitious week-long programme to promote education, literature and the library services in the district.

Titled ‘Punarudaye Purawara’, the programme saw the web page of the library being inaugurated by the Deputy Education Minister Madura Seneviratne. Among those who attended the event were Nuwara Eliya Mayor Upali Wanigasekara, members of the municipal council and officials.
