Protest in Kandy over food stalls

A protest was held yesterday in Kandy over the municipal council’s decision to allow an event with food stalls, including BBQ outlets, in the vicinity of the Dalada Maligawa and the Kataragama devalaya.
The event was held on the Dalada Veediya and Kotugodella Veediya.
