Blood Donation Camp at ANC

Nearly a 100 students and staff of ANC generously donated blood at a successful Blood Donation Campaign organized by the students of the Charity Committee, headed by Dimithri Thilakasundaram. The camp took place at the ANC Auditorium on February 20th, 2013 and was conducted by the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS) – Sri Lanka. The NBTS Sri Lanka, has been recognized as the best representation of transfusion services in South East Asia by the World Health Organization (WHO). The ANC Auditorium was turned into a mini hospital complete with beds and sterile equipment, while a doctor was available on hand to make sure only those that fit the criteria were donors for this worthy cause.
