TOEFL preparation at PATHE

The TOEFL iBT™ test, administered in an internet-based format, is an important part of your journey to study in an English-speaking country. The TOEFL iBT test measures your ability to use and understand English at the university level. And it evaluates how well you combine your listening, reading, speaking and writing skills to perform academic tasks.

Each year, nearly a million individuals of all ages take the TOEFL test to demonstrate their English-language proficiency. More than 25 million people from all over the world have taken the TOEFL test since it was first offered. It has to be taken for/by:

According to statistics taken for the TOEFL exam, the average scores achieved by Sri Lankan students are: Reading 19/30, Listening 20/30, Speaking 21/30, Writing 21/30, Total 81/120.
The statistics themselves speak of the difficulties an average student faces at the TOEFL exam due to lack of English study during the academic period of schooling.
